A tropical Shangri-la nestled upon a coral jewel set amidst Palawan's sparkling turquoise waters. Comely and idyllic, this island resort is a perfect hideaway for those who seek both relaxation and discovery. Club Paradise is in Dimakya Island, Municipality of Coron. A part of the Calamian Group of Islands, it is situated at the northern tip of Palawan, the Philippine's last frontier. The 19-hectare (46.93-acre) Dimakya Island is truly blessed with 700 meters of sun-kissed (about 2,334 feet) white sand beach gently sloping into crystal clear turquoise waters bejeweled with colorful reefs. The island itself offers exotic and endemic wildlife such as Calamian deer, scaly anteaters, monitor lizards and rare birds including eagles and night herons which thrive on its dense forest. The seas around Dimakya present an abundance of giant clams, sea spongers, huge coral beds, multiple of sich and other marine creatures. The seabed provides vast sea grass ground which makes it an ideal feeding area for dugon or sea cow. In addition to this, the nearby Dimalanta Shipwreck, the wreck of World War II Japanese Kyokuzan Maru, also offers a very interesting site for divers
Location
Club Paradise is in Dimakya Island, Municipality of Coron. A part of the Calamianes group of islands, it is situated at the northern tip of Palawan, the Philippines's last frontier.
Rooms and Accommodation
The guests' accommodation units total to 56, which are divided into 3 phases according to their location. Phase I, otherwise known as the Sunset Beach, is where 7 standard beachfront and 13 deluxe-type air-conditioned beachfront cottages are located, suited for either single, double or triple occupancy.Phase II, also known as the Sunrise Beach, is where 12 duplex-type and 8 condominium-type air-conditioned family cottages can be found. Each of these family cottages can comfortably accommodate up to 5 persons. The architecture of Phase I and II is a modern version of the Filipino hut or "bahay kubo." The simplicity of its interior is warm but breezy, with its wooden floors and screened windows. Phase III of the Island View Rooms is where 12 air-conditioned apartment-type rooms and 4 Junior Suites are situated. The structure is built on a hillside fronting the island's natural lagoon. All units are provided with amenities designed for convenience and comfort: spacious beds, writing desk, desk lamp, alarm clocks, intercom, dresser, marble bathroom and verandah. In addition to these, each cottage or room comes with a mini-refrigerator; and free coffee, sugar, and cream
Restaurants & Bars
Savor sumptuous Filipino and International cuisine at the al fresco type Restaurant. Breakfast is served from 6 to 9 in the morning, lunch is from 12 to 2 in the afternoon and dinner is from 7 to 9 in the evening. The restaurant also serves as venue to cultural presentations and entertainment for you to enjoy. The restaurant also houses several facilities such as:
Conference Room. This fully air-conditioned conference room, complete with conference facilities and a seating capacity of 50 persons, can be found above the restaurant.
